The GIS Department preforms a wide range of duties, including the generation and maintenance of maps, images, and data files and managing and updating the GIS files housed at HIRMD. We offer services to all HIRMD departments, including the:

1. Forestry Department
2. Cultural Heritage Department
3. Aquatics Department

We are also available to do contract work for anyone in need of GIS services.  We have two single use ArcGIS basic licenses, which have recently been upgraded with the addition of two Spatial Analyst licenses.  Our technicians continue to upgrade their skills through training opportunities with Esri.
